CERAMIC HANFU
For the creative component of my graduate project I created the Ceramic Hanfu; an Augmented Reality Garment using Clo3d, Zbrush, Substance Painter and Blender.
Drawing inspiration from the traditional Northern Chinese style of dress called “Hanfu”, I reimagined what clothing could look like if unwearable materials could be used. This garment draws inspiration from traditional Chinese ceramic dinner bowls commonly found in many Asian households and features this ceramic materiality throughout the dress with imperfect bubbles and brush strokes. A touch of gold is added to create a sense of materialistic value and celebration
This garment was exhibited at RMIT University- I was the first student to utilize this technology for a graduate fashion show. the is available to try on, on the Zero10 app.
